 243 It begin raining on March 13.  Until this rain, I think that this year is going to be a dry year; however, the first three months make me wonder how accurate the meteorologists' predictions really are.}It rained more since the first of the year than it has rained for the first nine months last year.  This year the rain totalled more than 12 inches.  If it rains much more this week, many roads in the area will have to be closed.}The National Weather Service has flown airplanes over the state now to photograph the flood damage.  These photographs were studied to determine where flood control structures can be placed. }I am sure that we appreciate the sunshine and dry weather when these rains stop.
